Q: What is the best way to thaw the food?

A: Thaw in refrigerator or at room temperature.  Thawed product is good in the refrigerator for 48 hours.   Do Not Microwave as cooked bones are not safe for consumption.  Cooking also destroys the natural vitamins and minerals.

Q: How do I keep my cat's teeth clean?

A:To keep teeth clean, feed raw chicken wings every week or two. You can read this article for further info on dental health: Natures toothbrush.

Q: Do I have to gradually add the raw or can I just switch?

A: Unlike commercial foods, cats can be immediately switched to raw with no ill affects.  A few cats may resist the raw diet if they are unused to eating naturally, so limiting any access to commercial food will help speed up the transition.

  Q: Should they be fed dry kibbles in addition to the raw food?

A:While you can feed both you shouldn't do it at the same time, kibble is digested at a differen't rate than raw food and it is hard on their systems.

Q: I have a couple of cats that seem to prefer the dry food, why would that be?

A: The flavoring in commercial foods is like candy to cats.
