Wait List
April 14th, 2006
We do not keep a formal waitlist and we do not take deposits for kittens who are not yet born. We feel this is a commitment that depending on what you are looking for we may not be able to fullfill. If you are serious about a kitten we suggest you send us an e-mail with detailed information about yourself and your pets. We also suggest that you keep in touch to let us know your status, we do our best to let people know when we have kittens available and the e-mail reminders help.
Show Stuff
April 14th, 2006
While resuts are unofficial at this time we are exstatic to report that Wesley has finished off the show season as 2nd best all breed cat in CCA!!!!! Wesley is a very special boy and it has truly been an amazing year showing him. This guy LOVES the show hall and it will break my heart to explain to him that he's not coming with me anymore, you'll still see him out from time to time as a treat for us both :)
Testing Results
April 14th, 2006
A Major breakthrough has occured thank to Dr Kittleson and his staff we will soon have a DNA test for HCM. This will allow breeders to do a one time test to know 100% wether a cat is affected or not. We hope the test will be available soon and have held off on our screenings accordingly. If all goes well Dr Kittleson predicts the test to be available in December of this year.
We have had some hip testing done and plan to do more soon. We have also screened several of our cats for SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy) since this is a recessive disorder by having negative males we can at least be sure that we can not produce affecteds as both the male and female would need to carry the mutated gene in order for the kitten to be affected. As funds allow we will have everyone done to get a complete picture of any SMA in our breeding program although we don't expect any positive results it is a wonderful tool to be sure.
